So I wrote this title because it is true, when ignorance of students are combined with all the drama surrounding us, fights are bound to occur. In my school, drama and petty arguments and violent acts occur on a regular basis. It is unfortunate and a waste of time when a female or male gets into an argument and then when asked later, they don’t remember what the issue was about. Its crazy how people blow any and every situation out of proportion.

Nowadays, people act before they think, they don’t have fathers and mothers telling them the does and don’ts of life and molding them into the respectful person they ought to be. Their influences are those on the streets, people who have experienced the negatives in life and have not been successful enough to move up or upgrade on their self-character.

It frustrates me when I walk the street and sit on the bus listening to all the petty drama that occurs in different people's lives. As I think about all the deaths that happened in CPS schools alone, it hurts me because kids shouldn’t be dying off like that. The sadder thing about that is that it isn’t the 'white man' or terrorists that are killing us off-it are each other. Our community is tearing us apart and we as a group are killing the lives of our youth. When I talked to my grandmother she told me of how kids respected adults regardless if they liked them or not. She even went on to explain how cursing and disrespectful language in the presence of an elderly person is highly disrespectful. At first I disagreed but as I listen to the ignorance on buses, I understand what she was talking about.

Really, the main reason why violence occurs in our society today is because nobody wants to be the bigger person and walk away, think before they act, or find any other alternative response to drama. I would like to know why can’t everybody just stop being so dramatic. I mean, you don’t have to like me-you could even hate me-but just go your way and ill go mines. I feel like a fight doesn’t necessarily have to occur just because you dislike anyone.

So basically I’m saying violence could be avoided if we all mature ourselves, but we know that there will always be that ignorant person who will always have the mentality to instigate situations, so because of this, it is very likely that a decrease in violence will ever happen.

its the day before my prom and i dont exactly have everything together. i know its gonna work out but the school is just blowing me with all the stuff they want us to do. me specifically. an example is that i was called in the principal's office to go to this operation push thing and its on saturday at 10:00. im mad because they just informed me about this and i dont really want to do anythin too early that saturday. all i wanted to do is relax and just kick it.i guess ima be iight because they giving money away and ma mama said i need to go. so i guess. i have a lot more stuff to say but im in a 45 minute class and im really suppost to be writing something else about voilence. so let me get off of here and write about how i feel about voilence.\
